Programs – TRIBOMECHADYNAMICS LAB

Prof. Brake has founded/directed multiple programs both at Rice and other institutions. These programs are briefly summarized:

Tribomechadynamics Research Camp – an intensive research experience for graduate students and postdocs held every summer (except during pandemics).
Tribomechadynamics STEM Camp – a high school outreach program held in conjunction with the summer research program.
AMPT – the Additive Manufacturing, Performance, and Tribology Center at Rice.
Joints Committee – the international organization for joints research.
ND-CSI (Archived) – a six week long graduate research program held every summer; replaced by the Tribomechadynamics Research Camp
