Opportunities for Visiting Scholars
The Tribomechadynamics Group welcomes visiting scholars. We have had multiple scholars from Asia and Europe over the last few years. Starting in early 2019, we will have one to two positions open for new visiting scholars. In particular, students with the following skill sets are encouraged to apply:
- Wear modeling and experimentation
- Multi-input, multi-output controls implementation
- Applied mathematics (for example, to conduct research on the Kadison-Singer problem as it relates to mechanical engineering, or numerical integration algorithms)
- Nonlinear system identification and modeling techniques for joint mechanics
