Tribomechadynamics STEM Camp for High School Students

The Tribomechadynamics STEM Camp, is a seven week long high school internship that is hosted in conjunction with the Tribomechadynamics Research Camp. The Tribomechadynamics STEM Camp is organized through the Rice Office of STEM Engagement. The next offering of the Tribomechadynamics STEM Camp will be in summer 2023. The goals of the program are:

  • To expose students to multiple aspects of STEM research
  • To provide seminars on topics germane to mechanical engineering
  • To introduce students to both undergraduate and graduate research
  • To mentor students in finding the right major for their career goals and interests
  • To teach students how to use state of the art engineering software
